Our Services
All of the services we provide have been designed with your dogs needs in mind. From smaller less energetic breeds right up to those dogs who accompany their owners on long hikes. We use different terrains including woodland, fields, sand and small rivers for the enrichment and exercise needs of your pet.
1/2 Hour Walk
This is ideal for dogs who don’t need as much exercise as the more energetic breeds or for dogs with previous injuries where walking for longer than half an hour could aggravate the old injury.

1 Hour Walk
This is a great option for those doggo’s who have good recall and benefit from off lead walks. This walk gives your dog ample time to explore, run around and sniff to their hearts content. It is also ideal for ensuring they have toileted numerous times and go home fairly tired!

2-3 Hour Adventure Walk
This walk suits more energetic breeds such as spaniels, collies and Labradors to name a few. This walk will incorporate different terrains such as woodland, fields and rivers. It will give dogs chance to explore the woods, bound through country fields and saves plenty of time for fun and splashing in the rivers.

3+ Hour Hike
This is one for dogs that are used to hiking with their owners. Your dog will be transported to near-by hiking areas and given the full Tails & Trails experience; navigating hills, rocks, rivers and even bagging those trig points! Some of the areas we use are: Dovedale, Wetton and Thor’s cave, Wolfscote Dale and The Roachs.

Home Visits
Sometimes you might prefer a home visit rather than a walk. Depending on the length of the visit, your dog will be let out to the toilet, fed (if needed), water bowl topped up and for the longer home visits, they will get to play in the garden with their favourite toy or snuggled on the sofa. It helps break the day up, gives them a much needed toilet break and also some interaction. This is especially ideal for puppies who can’t yet go out or have long walks.

Dogs that have been on muddy walks receive a complimentary wash down with lovely warm water from our mobile dog wash. Followed by a nice fluffy towel to dry off.
